Shiva Consulting
I will consult with you from anywhere in the world as to how to implement your Shiva. There are many traditions and rituals around Shiva that I can help you navigate and decide what is best for your Sit. There is also a great many things to do in order to get a Shiva organized and implemented and I will create a plan that makes it easier on you. Together we will look at your desires, what kind of guest count will be expected and how many days will work best for you.
During this process I help you decide who will be your assigned coordinator whether that be family or friend, and I work with them to guide them through the process of helping you host a beautiful sit that both supports you and yours while honoring your loved one. During the process I will guide you or your assigned coordinator through the most efficient ways to organize food and deliveries, set the space for the days of service and how to close down each evening and open up for the following day.
Shiva Coordinating
Shiva Coordinating can be handled remotely. Like Consulting I will help you navigate and decide how you would like to shape your sit and in doing so I will prepare and design a beautiful announcement, be the point of contact for all the guests for what to bring and when to send as well as the restaurants and deli we choose to be the Shiva resource for all things food related. I create a calendar and work with our food resources to have food delivered the best way so there is as little waste as possible. Like Consulting I will work with whomever you assign as your coordinator as to how to set the space, run the Shiva, open and close the days for the most efficient outcomes. The goal always being that the host has as little to do as possible at the end of each night and at the close of the event.
Shiva Implementation
This service is the highest and best service I offer. You get my consulting service, coordinating service and you get to have me on-sight throughout the entire Shiva to take care of everything until it is over. There is no need that will not be met and no detail too small for me to attend to. I will take care of everything in ways you never imagined so that you can “sit” without any worry for anything beyond but yourself and your family.
